The final chapter for the iconic Chrysler 300C has been written as the last one glided off the line at the Brampton Assembly Plant. It was a Velvet Red 2023 Chrysler 300C, and the team at Brampton gathered to honor this momentous occasion.
By the end of 2023, the production of the 2023 Chrysler 300 will bid farewell. This specific version, the 6.4L HEMI-powered 2023 Chrysler 300C, made headlines when it was unveiled at the 2022 North American International Auto Show. It pays homage to the remarkable 70-year legacy of the Chrysler 300 and the crucial role the 300C played in the muscle car lineage. The special-edition 2023 Chrysler 300C, with only 2,000 units in the U.S. and 200 in Canada, saw its reservations vanish within just 12 hours after its grand reveal in 2022.
The Chrysler 300 has been an emblem of American luxury and performance since its debut in 1955, reemerging in 2005 with a fresh identity. The 1957 arrival of the Chrysler 300C was a milestone, boasting a standard 392-cubic-inch, 375-horsepower HEMI engine. Fast forward to the 2023 Chrysler 300C, which flaunts a mighty 485 horsepower and 475 lb.-ft. of torque, zooming from 0 to 60 mph in a lightning-fast 4.3 seconds and hitting a top speed of 160 mph.
